Bonjour de Paris ...
Chers Amis,
Tonight's plan was to spend the evening packing and getting everything ready for our early AM flight to L.A. But (there is almost always a but) we received an offer to go hear Kurt Elling in Paris tonight. So... I guess it'll be another late night of packing. Followed by the ardent hope of sleep during the flight. To be honest, this past month has gone by in a blur. And things are coming in quickly for the summer and later this spring. We are very fortunate to be in this position, but I sometimes wish that I felt just a little more ahead of the curve.
I am really trying to promote The "Laguna Beach Live" concert on April 25th at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach. It is a concert to raise funds for children's music programs that are free of charge for the participants. There will be food and drinks available at the venue. We are really excited to have Peter Giron, our Paris bassist join us along with L.A. drummer and my long time musical partner Jerry Kalaf to present this music to you. I can also confirm that Luis Mascaro, the wonderful violinist who performed with us in Laguna Beach last August, will be there as well. Our other California Itinerary includes April 20th San Diego, April 21st San Juan Capistrano and April 22nd in Santa Barbara. We are hoping to have the opportunity to see as many of you as possible, although this trip is a short one and one that is quite full with work.
